How do I test to watch if my puppy is gay?

So I got a dog and I like to take him on walks in the park to grab up chicks. When we get to the park though he is always jumping on other male dogs and humping them. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay but I don't yearn to send out the wrong note here. I was hoping that all the girls would want to pet him and I could use the opportunity to create my move but this is getting embarrassing. Any tests out there to see if a dog is gay?

    Can dogs be gay?

It isn’t uncommon in nature or in pets to see animals pair bond. But can dogs be gay? Most of the time the natural hormones involved create bonds between male and females with the need to pass on their blood lines and copy at the forefront of their biological instinct. However, we also see pair bonding’s’ in equal sex pairs as we execute in human culture.

Do we observe gay relationships forming in nature?

Absolutely. Nature is full of matching sex pair bondings.

Reports of matching sex relationships have been documented in Bears, Gorillas, flamingos, owls, salmon and many more.

It has been documented that a pair of penguins in Marwell zoo, Southampton “Ralph and Coral” created a same sex relationship, raising several chicks together at their time in the zoo. Alike sex relationships between penguins contain been noted before in other zoo’s as in Wingham wildlife park in Kent “Jumbs and Kermit”, London zoo “Ronnie and Reggie” and New Yorks’ primary park zoo “Roy and Silo” all had successful same sex relationships also raising chicks together.

Japanese macaques have been noted to have a preference for other females even in the presence of males showing in

For humans, being same-sex attracted or homosexual refers to a sexual attraction or taste to those of the same sex.

Homosexuality in animals, which has been studied and discussed as far back as the 8th century BC, is defined quite differently.

Gay, or the preferred legal title when speaking of animals, homosexual, can be used to refer to various aspects:

    • Same-sex behavior that is not inherently sexual in character
    • Same-sex courtship or copulatory behavior occurring over a short period of time
    • Long-term pair bonds between gay partners that might involve any combination of courting, copulating, parenting, and affectional behaviors.

Homosexuality in animals is behavioral rather than a sexual orientation, meaning they will have sex with whoever they want, whenever they want without regard for any of our perceptions or ideas about it.

To make things small and sweet, a dog cannot be gay, or at least not in the same way we recognize that a person can be.

    Can A Canine Be Gay?

Because dogs can’t speak and communicate to us it can be difficult to distinguish between an animal that has a true long-term preference and an animal that engages in normal, queer behaviors.
