But much more than facially, Austin had EP's height, carriage, amble , shoulder shrug, crinkled nose in laughter, gaze (especially in the '68 Distinct performance), and, according to Cilla, Elvis's "rage" uncannily perfect.

But as to your opinion that Austin "sometimes sounded vaguely like Elvis," I must take issue, because you're just even out wrong. Straight-up comparisons of both men with "That's All-Time Right (Mama)," "Trouble," "Let's Play House," and "Hound Dog" back my position. Well, actually prove it.
